In Mayotte today begins the fifth week of blockade of the collective of citizens protesting against insecurity. Demonstrations which continue despite the promises of Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin, an emergency bill announced for May 22 and the abolition of land rights on the Island. Why are these protests not weakening?
