The Women’s Superpesis Regular Series ends with the matches played on Saturday.

Manse PP, the league leader of the Women’s Superpesis, visited Seinäjoki on Thursday, when the team beat Seinäjoki Maila-Jussit in stages 2–0 (2–0, 3–1).

Lapuan Virki beat Joensuu Maila away 2–0 (5–3, 1–0).

Pesäkarhut kept the series points in Pori by beating Hyvinkää Tahko 2–0 (3–1, 3–2).

Jyväskylä’s Kirittäret was also stronger at home, when Roihuttaret of Helsinki fell 2–0 (5–0, 5–1).

The last matches of the Women’s Superpesis regular season will be played on Saturday. Before the final round, the difference between Manse PP and Lapua Virki, which is second in the standings, is three points. Seinäjoki is third, 10 points away from Tampere.

The top six in the regular season advance directly to the quarterfinals. Pori’s Pesäkarhut and Joensuu’s Maila are fighting for the last direct quarter-final spot, which are tied for 6th and 7th place.

After the regular season, those ranked 7-10 face the quarter-finals, and the last two teams of the regular season will meet in the relegation play-off.

In the final round, Roihuttari of Helsinki, Urheilijo of Pöytä, Tahko of Hyvinkää and Palloilijo of Hamina are betting on avoiding relegation.
