Markku Kanerva selected Finland’s European Championship qualifying group for the November matches against Northern Ireland and San Marino.
Markku Kanerva has named the Finnish men’s national football team for the last matches of the European Championship qualifying group against Northern Ireland and San Marino. Huuhkajie’s team has a surprise choice, when only 18-year-old English-Finnish Tomas Galvez is in the group.
Born in 2005, the full-back belongs to the football giant Manchester City. On the other hand, the lists do not include, for example, those who played in the youth national teams Take Glue and Top in the middle, who were recruited to the team. Galvez is in Huuhkajie’s EC qualifying group for the first time.
The list includes a goalkeeper among familiar credit players Lukas Hradecky, Teemu Pukki, Joel Pohjanpalo and Rasmus Schuller.
Also Lionel Messi’s who excelled alongside Inter Miami this fall Robert Taylor belongs to the strength of the team. He scored in Huuhkajie’s previous EC qualifying match against Kazakhstan.
Finland meets 17-. November at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium against Northern Ireland and three days later away from San Marino.
