Man who threatened Bolsius with death gets suspended community service

AMERSFOORT – The man who threatened and insulted the Amersfoort mayor Bolsius last year has been given a suspended community service order of 120 hours. The District Court of Central Netherlands has decided this today. The sentence is subject to special conditions, for example, the man has been banned from contact for as long as the probation service deems it necessary, and he has a reporting obligation. He must also cooperate with treatment.
