Man threw firebombs – sentenced to prison

A man in his 30s is sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Växjö district court for having thrown Molotov cocktails at several cars in different places in Kalmar and Kronoberg counties in May this year, writes P4 Kronoberg. In one case, the man managed to set fire to a car in a carport.
According to the court, the actions were characterized by planning and rationality as he manufactured firebombs and traveled from place to place.
The man is also convicted of having broken a large number of window panes in Växjö.
He must also pay damages to victims and insurance companies of approximately SEK 574,000.
