A 25-year-old man who was found stabbed by a sharp object in Malmö on Tuesday evening has died of his injuries.
– Just after midnight we received word from the hospital that the man has died, says Jerker Olsson, officer on duty at the police.
The man was found at 11 p.m. in the Kroksbäck area. The police had a large effort where the incident occurred due to the fact that it has been messy at the scene.
– So far, we have no one detained or suspected in the case.
A preliminary investigation into murder has been opened.
– During the night, we had the crime scene cordoned off and worked with forensics and special search dogs, says Jerker Olsson.
