A 35-year-old man in Trollhättan has been taken to hospital with knife injuries. The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder and are looking for several perpetrators.
– There are likely knife injuries. But the extent is still unclear, says police spokesperson Stefan Gustafsson.
The injured man came into the police station in Trollhättan on his own on Friday afternoon. While waiting for an ambulance, the man told the police that several people attacked him near a pizzeria.
The man was conscious when he was taken to hospital. Otherwise, it is unknown how badly injured he is.
The police are trying to find the crime scene in order to cordon it off and carry out a technical investigation.
– No one is arrested, says Gustafsson.
