A fight broke out between two men on a playground in Ronna on Friday evening. One man then attacked and injured the other with a knife-like object.
The injured man managed to get indoors himself and was later taken to hospital by ambulance.
– He should not have been seriously injured. He bled a bit but was able to walk, stand and talk, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
Man arrested
The police were alerted shortly before 8 p.m. and were able to arrest the designated perpetrator without drama.
The man, who is 45 years old, is suspected of serious assault and illegal threats.
– We have a pretty good picture of what it might be about. But we are holding off on going out with that detail, but will let those involved tell it in questioning, says Daniel Wikdahl.
It is unclear what relationship the men had to each other.
– I don’t know if they know each other directly, but as I understand it, they at least know each other.
