The police have opened a preliminary investigation into attempted murder after a man was cut in a hotel room in Täby north of Stockholm. The man is seriously injured and has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
– Both of them must have been in the hotel room where some kind of conflict must have arisen, says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
The police were called to the scene shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening. A suspected perpetrator was arrested at the scene and another person is to be questioned by the police.
The injured man is also suspected of crime, the police say.
The crime scene is cordoned off and will be examined by forensics.
