The alarm was received by the police at 22.20 on Monday evening.
– The witnesses performed CPR and other life-saving measures on the man before paramedics arrived and took over, says Mats Eriksson, press officer at the police in the Stockholm region.
He adds that the man was alive when he was taken away in the ambulance, but that his injury status is currently unknown.
The police have a large number of resources on site and are searching the area with, among other things, a helicopter.
– We have also questioned several witnesses, says Mats Eriksson.
One person arrested
At 11 p.m., the police announce that a person has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
– It is too early to say whether the incident can be linked to gang crime, but we are looking into it, says Eriksson.
