A man has been found with a gunshot wound in Växjö, the police say. The alarm came at 6 p.m.
– We received information about a shooting in connection with a residence and when we get there a person with a gunshot wound is found, says Calle Persson, press spokesperson at the police to TT.
The police do not want to comment on the person’s condition or whether anyone has been arrested in the case. The shooting occurred in the Teleborg area in southern Växjö.
– It is still a little too early for me to want to go into those details. But we are on site and working full time, both at the crime scene and at other locations that may be of interest to the investigation, says Calle Persson.
The site has been cordoned off and is to be investigated. Any witnesses must be questioned.
