The police and ambulance were alerted to a shooting in Vällingby just after 21.10 on Saturday evening. At least one person, a man, has been shot, according to the police.
– We received several calls about loud bangs being heard. One person has a serious gunshot wound, says Mats Eriksson of the Stockholm police.
The shooting took place outdoors. There are several witnesses to the incident.
– We are in the process of creating a picture of what happened. At the same time, a hunt is underway for one or more perpetrators.
No one has yet been arrested.
The shooting is one of several that have occurred in Stockholm and Uppsala in the past week.
