A man has been found shot in Västertorp in southern Stockholm.
– He has been shot by a currently unknown perpetrator whom we are working to capture. We have a great resource in Västertorp, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been launched.
It was at eight o’clock on Thursday evening that the police were alerted to explosions and an injured man. Once there, the man was found to have been shot. The police cannot say in more detail how serious the injuries are.
The place where the man was found is not necessarily the same as the crime scene, says Daniel Wikdahl.
The police have several patrols on site.
