The alarm was received by the police shortly after 11.30 p.m. Paramedics treated the man with gunshot wounds at the scene before he was taken to hospital. He himself stated to the police that he was shot in a common area of an apartment building.
– But we do not know for sure if it is the crime scene, says Mats Eriksson, press spokesperson at the Stockholm police region.
– I get the impression that he does not have life-threatening injuries, adds Eriksson.
Looking for suspect
Police are on site with several resources to, among other things, search for suspects.
A preliminary investigation has been launched into extremely serious assault and serious weapons offences.
