A man has been shot in the residential area Almgården in Malmö, the police say. The man was conscious when he was found.
– It is a man in adulthood, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
The injured man will be taken to hospital by ambulance.
It was at half past eleven on Sunday evening that several people raised the alarm that shots had been fired in the Almgården residential area.
Initially, the police could only establish that shots had been fired at a window in a residential building.
– Shortly afterwards, a person was found with gunshot wounds, says Evelina Olsson.
Whether he was found inside or outside the residence, the police cannot say.
The site has been cordoned off and is to be examined by technicians. The police are looking for one or more suspected perpetrators.
