It was around 6pm on Friday that the police received several calls about a shooting in Kallebäck.
– At the same time, we receive calls that a man has been found shot, says police spokesperson Anna Göransson.
“Was conscious when taken to hospital”
The man was conscious when he was taken to hospital. The incident was initially classified as aggravated assault, but has been changed to attempted murder.
– There are circumstances that apply to the initial damage picture, but also information that several shots have been fired. Based on that, it is now classified as attempted murder, says Anna Göransson.
No suspects at this time
There is no suspect. Witnesses to the incident are also heard on the spot. The police have also cordoned off two locations in the area where a forensic investigation is now being carried out.
– It is partly the place where the man with a gunshot wound was found, and partly the likely crime scene that we have been able to locate thanks to witness statements that have been able to explain to us where it might have happened, says Göransson.
