A man has been found with a gunshot wound after a shooting in Eskilstuna. He is seriously injured, the police say.
– A large number of shots have been heard at the scene, there are many people who have heard these explosions, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, press spokesperson at the police, to TT.
According to him, the injured person is an adult man. At the moment, the police have no information that other people were injured in the shooting.
The alarm came just before 10pm on Friday and the police received several calls about loud bangs.
The police have opened a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons offences. The site has been blocked off. No one has been detained.
