A man has been found with a gunshot wound in the area of Årby in Eskilstuna.
– The first information suggests that there should be some kind of shooting and that there should be an injured person there, says police spokesperson Marcus Anefur.
The alarm was received by the police at half past eight on Saturday evening. The man has been taken to hospital, but it is unclear how badly injured he is.
The police are probably looking for several perpetrators, according to Marcus Anefur.
– We base that on the information we have received regarding the incident, he says.
The crime scene has been cordoned off.
– We work with information gathering in the form of interrogations and other information such as camera surveillance to form a better idea of the course of events.
