A man has been shot in Alby in Botkyrka, south of Stockholm.
– It is a person, a man, who has been found shot. This man has been taken to hospital for treatment. The damage situation is unclear, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
The alarm came to the police at 22 o’clock on Monday.
Several patrols are on site and are looking for suspects in the act. The gunshot wounded man was found outside and the site has been cordoned off for technical investigation. They are also trying to find witnesses to the act.
A preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious gun crime has begun.
