    The man who was shot by the police in a residential area in Eskilstuna on Saturday evening has now been arrested.

    This is reported by P4 Sörmland.

    The public prosecutor’s office tells the channel that the man is suspected of serious threat to an official and attempted serious assault.

    A person has been pulled out of the water at a swimming area in Västra Frölunda in Gothenburg after an alarm about drowning.

    The accident happened shortly after 4 p.m.

    Police, emergency services and ambulance are on site.

    – One person has been taken out of the water, says Åsa Opperud, command operator for the rescue service.

    The person’s injury status is unclear.

    A two-year-old girl was attacked by an eagle in Norway’s Trøndelag on Friday afternoon, reports say Address newspaper.

    A girl under the age of 18 has allegedly been assaulted. A 25-year-old man is suspected of crime.

    A man has died in a motorcycle accident outside Råneå in Norrbotten, local media reports.

    The accident happened on Saturday evening. Two men in their 30s who were traveling on the motorcycle were taken to hospital.

    The driver had such serious injuries that his life could not be saved.

    The second man is being treated in the intensive care unit with minor injuries, according to Region Norrbotten.

  • Man in car and personal assistant hit

    A man in a car and the man’s personal assistant have been hit by a car in Alingsås.

    The accident happened at 1 p.m.

    Both men are aged 40-45 and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. The victims suffered scrapes, bumps and one of them felt pain in the chest.

    Patrol on site confiscated the driver’s license. He is an elderly man who escaped without physical injuries.

    The police have opened a preliminary investigation into negligence in traffic, causing bodily harm and suspicion of not having observed the right of way at a pedestrian crossing.

  • Large fire in barn – spread to house

    A large fire rages in a barn in southern Gotland – and has spread to a residential building.

    According to the rescue service, there is a large effort at the scene.

    – It is a little unclear to what extent the house is on fire. There were people at home, but there were no injuries, says the rescue service’s management operator Roger Sverndal.

    The barn will be allowed to burn down, according to the emergency services.

    On Saturday, a Russian drone crashed in the Rēzekne region of Latvia, local media reports.

    The Deccan Herald writes that the patient has been isolated in hospital while waiting for test results.

    Filipino doomsday pastor Apollo Quiboloy, 74, has been hunted by the FBI on suspicion of human trafficking and various sex crimes.

    Now he has been arrested, according to Philippine media.

    The 74-year-old who leads the congregation “Jesus Kingdom” was arrested on Sunday in Davao city.
