A man in his 30s has been shot in Sätra in southern Stockholm.
Helicopters and dog patrols are looking for one or more perpetrators.
– There is a lot of activity right now, says Per Fahlström, police spokesperson.
At 19.50 the police received a call about a person with a gunshot wound in a residential area in Sätra.
– When we arrived at the scene, we found the man outside. He has been taken to hospital in an ambulance and the injuries are considered serious, says Per Fahlström, police spokesperson.
Comprehensive effort
The man, who is in his 30s, was shot outdoors and a residential area has been cordoned off for a technical investigation.
A large police operation is underway right now with, among other things, a helicopter and dog patrols to look for one or more perpetrators.
– There is a lot of activity right now, says Per Fahlström, police spokesperson.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted murder.
– At the same time as we are looking for the perpetrator or persons, extensive intelligence and investigative work is taking place. At the site, we will knock on doors and take stock of whether there are any cameras that can help us along the way, says Per Fahlström.
