Alarms came in just after midnight about a fight outside a grocery store and several patrols were sent to the scene.
– There were a lot of people and a mess at the scene when we arrived, says Joar Källman, commander at police region Mitt.
The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance and the crime classification was initially aggravated assault, something that has now been changed.
– It was changed to attempted murder, so the man is more seriously injured than first thought and has received several stab wounds, says Joar Källman.
No one has yet been detained for the crime.
