It was in mid-April that the man drove a scooter in Mårdsjön in Ragunda municipality after having consumed alcohol in such a quantity that the alcohol concentration in his blood during or after the journey amounted to 2.19 per thousand.
The limit for gross drunk driving in Sweden is at least 1.0 per thousand.
In the verdict, it also appears that the man was injured in an accident during the scooter ride, how and in what way the accident must have happened is not clear.
