A man in Älmhult municipality is sentenced to one year and eight months in prison for four cases of serious child pornography, reports Smålänningen.
Since 2020, the police have on several occasions found a large amount of abuse material in the man’s home. In one house search, 2,905 images and 737 videos were discovered and on another occasion – in early 2022 – 1,620 images were found. In total, the police have found over 4,500 images in the man’s possession.
The man has also distributed parts of the material to other people.
Växjö District Court assesses that the images and videos show children who have been exploited in a particularly ruthless way.
