A 44-year-old woman was hit by a man on a motocross bike in Nanterre on Thursday evening, August 29, according to Actu 17. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m., while the forty-year-old was sitting on a bench. The young man hit her in the legs while he was doing an urban rodeo. He apparently lost control of his vehicle, in which he was without a helmet.
The victim’s life is not in danger, but she is said to have suffered an open fracture of the leg. She was treated by firefighters and SMUR doctors before being urgently hospitalized in Boulogne-Billancourt.
The man fled after getting up “without worrying about her,” according to a source close to the case. “The driver of the two-wheeler did not worry about the victim, who was seriously injured. He got up, then he recovered his motorcycle before fleeing,” the source explained to Le Parisien.
An investigation, entrusted to the Nanterre police station, has been opened.

That same day and in the same city, another woman was knocked down by a scooter while crossing an avenue, according to information from Le Parisien. The victim suffered a head injury. She was taken to Beaujon Hospital in Clichy. The driver, who was slightly injured, was also hospitalized in Nanterre.
