A man is arrested on suspicion of serious assault in Hudiksvall. He and several other men allegedly jumped on a man in the central part of the city during the night of Sunday.
When the victim was knocked to the ground, one of the group allegedly kicked him, and also jumped on his head, reports Hudiksvalls Tidning.
The origin of the fight is said to have been that the gang made unwanted advances towards the plaintiff’s partner, who then refused and was subjected to the abuse.
The man, between 30 and 40 years old, was taken to hospital, but is not seriously injured. The arrested person, a man in his 20s, denies any crime.
– The others are currently unknown, says prosecutor Mattias Vilhelmsson to the newspaper.
