In mid-October last year, a man was kidnapped from his home in Gävle, forced into the forest, beaten and threatened with a gun. Eight people are now being sentenced, reports P4 Gävleborg.
Three men in their 30s are sentenced to six years in prison each for, among other things, kidnapping, robbery and serious assault.
According to the radio, the victim’s mobile phone and bank details were demanded, whereupon the perpetrators took over SEK 160,000 from his account.
Another five people are sentenced for money laundering.
All the convicts deny the crime.
