On Tuesday evening, a woman in her 60s who worked in the shop in Norsborg in Botkyrka municipality was stabbed, she was taken to hospital by ambulance but her life could not be saved.
The suspected perpetrator, who is aged 25, was arrested by a security guard in the store. According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the attack was apparently unprovoked and is seen by the police as an act of insanity. They suspect that the perpetrator may suffer from mental illness, according to the data.
ICA states that the woman worked in the store in Norsborg for a long time. During Wednesday, the store was closed to manage the crisis and gathered the colleagues.
