It was at 18.39 on Tuesday evening that the police were ordered to an address in Piteå.
– There was an injured man at the address. There was also another man at the scene who was arrested, initially suspected of serious assault, police press communicator Elisabeth Glaas said shortly after the alarm.
Later in the evening, the crime classification was changed to attempted murder. The police are now working with various investigative measures, such as witness interviews, door knocking and crime scene investigations.
At the moment, the police can’t go into whether any expedient was used.
