Shortly after 6 pm on Friday, the police received an alarm that a car was lying on the side in Varberga, that a traffic accident had occurred. At the same time, there were reports that bangs had been heard.
A man was found injured in connection with the incident, and later the police were able to announce that he was dead. The incident is being investigated as a suspected murder. Closer than that, the police do not want to go into what has happened.
There is no arrest. The police are on site and conducting a technical investigation and hearing any witnesses.
