The shooting took place at 23.14 in the Berga area in north-eastern Helsingborg. The police have sent several patrols to the crime scene, which has been cordoned off.
A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been launched.
Police have also been sent to the hospital.
The injured man is aged 25, the police told TT.
