Man in Kramatorsk arrested for “terrorist attack”

— Today, the security service and police special forces arrested the person who coordinated this terrorist attack, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening speech.

Ukraine accuses the man of assisting Russia in carrying out Tuesday’s attack that killed at least 11 people, including three children, and injured more than 60.

“Whoever helps Russian terrorists destroy lives deserves the most severe punishment,” Zelenskyy says, adding that more people may still remain among the racial masses.

Earlier, the security service wrote on Telegram that the man is suspected of having photographed the restaurant and informed the Russians about how popular it is. The restaurant Ria Pizza is described as a popular hangout, where soldiers on leave as well as journalists, aid workers and Kramatorsk residents have stayed.

Russia denies that it attacked civilian targets.
