The accident, where two motorists collided, happened at half past four on the night of Sunday.
One driver, a man in his 80s, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Carelessness in traffic
During Sunday morning, the police announced that he died as a result of the injuries after the accident. The man’s next of kin have been notified.
The other motorist, an 18-year-old man, was slightly injured.
The police classify the case as negligence in traffic, but no one is suspected of a crime.
Vehicles impounded
A technical examination of the vehicles must be carried out. The hope of the police is to make use of important data, such as the speed of the cars at the time of the accident.
– The investigation must show what happened at the scene, says Hans-Jörgen Ostler, police spokesperson.
