At 11.30 on Monday morning, a man was seriously injured after a workplace accident occurred on Gotland, the police write on their website.
– We cannot comment on how it happened at the moment, but it is something we are in the process of sorting out, said Ola Österlingthe police spokesperson to The evening paper.
The police were on the scene and interviewed people who were in the area, cordoned off the accident scene and began a forensic investigation.
Died as a result of the injuries
Just before 18:00 on Monday evening, the police announced that the person, who is a man in his 30s, has died from his injuries.
