The police were alerted that a man in his 20s had been found injured by members of the public at 9 p.m. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
– The extent of the damage is unclear. We are investigating the incident as aggravated assault or robbery, says Frida Noaksson, RLC commander at the police region Mitt.
The police are tight-lipped about how the injuries were inflicted.
– At the moment there are no suspects or arrests, says Noaksson.
