A man has been taken to hospital after falling from a balcony in Höganäs.
The police have opened a preliminary investigation into attempted murder.
– We have information that indicates that the man was thrown from the balcony, says Katarina Rusin, press spokesperson in the South police region.
The man was found injured on the ground outside an apartment building in Höganäs on Wednesday evening.
– When we arrive, there are several people at the scene and also the injured man, says Katarina Rusin.
The police were alerted at around 10 p.m. and at the scene it was established that there had been some kind of disturbance in an apartment.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
– They have been able to talk to the man at the hospital, but I have no information on how the damage is assessed, says Katarina Rusin.
Suspect attempted murder

– We have information that indicates that the man was thrown from the balcony. But I can’t go into exactly what makes us suspect that.
No one has been arrested and the apartment in question has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
