A man has been found with stab or cut injuries outdoors in a residential area in Norrliden in Kalmar. The man is in his 20s and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
– At the moment, no one is in custody, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
The police were alerted at 8:10 p.m. A suspected crime scene is cordoned off and the police will try to question the injured man at the hospital.
– We have several patrols that work and also dog patrols that track. They check people in the area and try to catch witnesses, says Olsson.
It is unclear how seriously injured the man is.
– It is difficult to say, things can change quickly when it comes to this type of violence.
