A man in his 80s has died in a drowning accident outside Arbrå north of Bollnäs.
The man had fallen into a lake and disappeared into the water. Private individuals who saw the accident managed to find him and get him ashore, local media reports.
The alarm about the accident came at 3pm on Saturday. A large rescue team was dispatched to the scene.
The police announced later in the evening that the man died in the accident.
