A man in his 60s died early Saturday morning in a drowning accident in the Hammer Dam in Hofors, reports P4 Gävleborg.
It was passers-by who alerted the police and emergency services after they saw a person lying in the water. The man was already dead when the police arrived at the scene.
There is no suspicion of crime, and the man’s relatives have been informed.
