Man dies in collision on Erie Avenue at Cockshutt Bridge

A two-vehicle collision on Erie Avenue has claimed the life of a 65-year-old man.

Brantford Police responded at 7:40 pm on Thursday, November 2, to a serious collision at the Cockshutt Bridge.

The man, who police say is not a Brantford resident, was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Erie Avenue was closed at the bridge for several hours while an investigation was conducted by the collision reconstruction unit.

The investigation is continuing, and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Brantford Police Traffic Unit at 519-756-0113.
