A 20-year-old man who was arrested in Skogås was detained today on suspicion of kidnapping and child rape.
This after a minor girl was kept locked up for at least two days.
The man was previously investigated for sexual offenses against children.
It was last Friday that the police raided an address in Skogås. A minor girl had been held prisoner for at least two days by several people, according to information given to Aftonbladet.
Today, one of the suspected kidnappers, a 20-year-old man, was detained by the Södertörn district court.
On probable grounds, he is suspected of kidnapping, aggravated rape of a child and aggravated weapons offences.
The man could be arrested in connection with the police crackdown in Skogås.
The 20-year-old has previously been convicted of several different crimes. Among other things illegal use, minor drug offenses and vandalism.
He has also been investigated for sexual molestation and child rape. The last time he was suspected of child rape was in 2020 and he was also in custody then. However, the suspicions were dismissed after a period of investigation.
As Aftonbladet previously reported, the 20-year-old is suspected of having kept a minor girl locked up in Skogås. He is also suspected of raping her.
According to information given to Aftonbladet, the girl must have been on the run from an HVB home.
Throughout the weekend, the police have been very secretive about the case. They worked intensively after the crackdown last Friday to secure evidence, including in a basement space in the house.
Three other people were arrested by the police in Skogås. They were arrested this weekend by a prosecutor, suspected of involvement in the kidnapping and protecting a criminal.
They were later released but are still suspects.
The prosecutor’s office wrote in a press release this weekend that they are not removed from the investigation.
Charges against the 20-year-old must be filed by March 20 at the latest.
