Police and emergency services were called to road 870 in Kiruna at half past one on the night of Midsummer’s Day.
At the scene, a man had veered off the road with his car. The man died in connection with the accident.
The police are investigating what may have caused the accident, no criminal charges have been filed at this time. The car has been impounded for a technical examination.
The man’s next of kin have been notified.
