The man was traveling in a passenger car and collided with a truck on national road 55 at Örsund Bridge in Enköping municipality.
He was taken to hospital after the accident, but later died from his injuries. Relatives are informed. The truck driver suffered minor injuries.
The police are now investigating the cause of the crash and interrogation witnesses. Both vehicles have been seized for a technical examination.
