Just before five o’clock on Sunday morning, an alarm was received about a fire in a terraced house in Nybro. When the emergency services arrived at the scene, the fire was fully developed. At 9:30 a.m., the police announced that a 75-year-old man died in the fire. The man’s next of kin have been notified.
Initially there was a risk of spreading, but later in the morning the Security and Alarm Center in Kalmar announced that the fire was out.
A report of aggravated arson is drawn up.
