The alarm came in at 00:31 and when the emergency services arrived, a man in his 60s was found dead.
– It is a house fire where we have found a deceased person, says Anders Dahlman, press spokesperson at the police.
A woman was able to get out of the apartment. She was taken to hospital but her injuries are described as minor.
The villa will be cordoned off and examined by technicians.
– How the fire started is unknown to us. But we have started a preliminary arson investigation and that is to be able to open up the police toolbox, says Anders Dahlman.
