A man has died after colliding head-on with a truck in Tranemo, Västra Götaland, on Monday afternoon. One passenger is seriously injured.
A car and a lorry collided head-on on national highway 27, south of Tranemo at around 3pm on Monday.
The driver of the car and a passenger were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
During the evening, the police announced that the driver of the car, a man, had died of his injuries.
Relatives have been notified.
The other person who was taken to hospital is still seriously injured.
The incident is being investigated as negligence in traffic.
