A man in his 30s is sentenced to two years in prison for raping a girl 14 years ago, reports Sveriges Radio’s P4 Örebro.
The man could be linked to the crime through a DNA match after he was tipped in another investigation.
According to the verdict, the man assaulted the 11-year-old girl in a forest area outside Vivalla in Örebro, and is now convicted of aggravated rape of a child. The man must also pay SEK 115,000 in damages to the girl.
