A man has been charged with mischief after false emergency calls were made, says Chatham-Kent police.
Emergency crews responded to numerous calls claiming a medical emergency made by a man Tuesday at 4:40 am, police said.

Officers attended Grand Avenue West in Chatham and found the claims were false, police said.
A 39-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with public mischief, police said. He was released with conditions and a Feb. 12 short date.
