A Wallaceburg resident face charges after a woman was hurt in a Dresden disturbance, Chatham-Kent police say.
Officers called to Park Street about 6 p.m. Monday learned a woman was injured in a clash with a man that was witnessed by bystanders, police said. Bystanders who tried to intervene were attacked by the man.
The woman was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment, police said.
A Wallaceburg man, 21, is charged with six counts of assault and single counts of aggravated assault and uttering threats, police said. He was released with conditions and a July 24 short date.
Man charged with stealing e-bike
A man faces charges after after an e-bike theft in Chatham, Chatham-Kent police say.
Officers called to Greenfield Lane about 9 pm Monday learned an e-bike had been stolen between last Friday and Sunday, police said. The bike was believed to have been seen at a Victoria Avenue address.
Officers arrested a suspect, who they learned was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a release order, police said.
A Chatham msan, 39, is charged with theft, possessing stolen property and failing to comply with a release order, polive said. He was released with conditions and a July 24 short date.
