Man charged after drugs seized in Blenheim: Chatham-Kent police

A man faces charges after a drug seizure in Blenheim Wednesday, Chatham-Kent police say.

Intelligence officers with a warrant searched a Blenheim address Wednesday, police said, seizing 1.5 kilograms of illicit cannabis, 500 grams of psilocybin, 51 hits of JSD, cannabis products, such as oils, resins and hash, packaging material and products, a cellphone, digital scales and cash.

A Blenheim man, 28, faces three Cannabis Act counts of selling cannabis and one count of possessing cannabis for sale, and single Controlled Drugs and Substances Act counts of possessing LSD for trafficking, and possessing psilocybin for trafficking, police said.

Police encourage the public to report illicit cannabis stores by calling police or Crime Stoppers.
